⚔️Brief Overview

What:

Vechain Slayers Guild is a unique small supply project of 666 Genesis Slayers. AI Art Hybrid.

An exclusive PFP NFT Collection on the VeChain blockchain.

Why:

To gamify the destruction of X-nodes, opening to a wider audience.

To bring utility to the Slayers Guild and its members.

But isn't destroying nodes, bad?

Typically, yes. But not in this case. X-nodes are different.

The VeChain blockchain mainnet has three different types of nodes:

• Authority Nodes: The 101 Authority Nodes validate transactions on the mainnet and keep the blockchain running. These are the 'important' nodes to keep the blockchain humming.

• Economic Nodes: Holders of certain amounts of VET are given Economic Node status by default. Economic Node status affords voting rights. They do not validate transactions on the mainnet.

• X-nodes: A special status minted to early adopters and holders of a certain amount of VET. Like Economic nodes, they do not validate transactions on the mainnet, they only have voting rights. X-nodes are burnt and destroyed when they go below their VET threshold. They drop to Economic node status when their X-node status is lost.

The biggest difference between Economic Nodes and X-nodes are voting rights but more importantly... all X-nodes participate in the VTHO emissions from a 5 billion VET reward pool established by the Foundation (21,600,000 VTHO daily emissions!). The less X-nodes, the bigger the piece of the pool for the remaining X-nodes.

And that is what the Slayers Guild aims to accomplish. X-nodes are being burnt, dropped, and destroyed all the time, we are just helping expedite that process, earn a little more VTHO for X-node holders, and have fun along the way.

How it Works:

The Guild Treasury Wallet will accept VTHO donations in set amounts. Each donation will result in receiving SL4Y, the official Slayers Guild token.

• Once an X-node has been identified for the kill, all VTHO donations will then be converted into within the treasury. That VET will then be used to purchase the X-node on the third party market.

• The X-node token will be bought and subsequently destroyed via the Treasury wallet.

Slayer Benefits

The goal of the project is to continually bring value to Slayers Guild members. We will explore different value propositions including but not limited to the following:

• Staking Slayer NFTs for WoV, etc.

• NFT trophy airdrops for participants.

• SL4Y token for Slayer item purchases, etc.

• PvP battle gameplay with token risk/reward.

• Collabs with other VeChain communities.

X-Node Benefits

The killing of X-nodes has many purposes:

• It reduces the X-node reward pool participants, theoretically providing a bigger share for those remaining. It rewards those who have long-term vision in VeChain and gets rid of those looking to exit. VTHO Rewards increase in value with each X-node kill.

• It also provides remaining X-nodes with more voting power. Voting power disseminates across all X-nodes, for a grand total of 40% voting power. Voting Power increases for remaining X-nodes.

• X-nodes remaining on the open market could theoretically increase in price. As X-nodes become more rare, it should put positive pressure on the sales price, giving more inherent value to X-nodes. X-nodes become more valuable.
